Dabangg 2: Paisa Vasool Movie - Yes

Story Idea - Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) got transfer to Kanpur. In this movie, Pandeyji is living there with wife Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha), step-father Prajapati (Vinod Khanna) and brother Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan). Pandeyji even has some of his loyal constables transferred with him. We do have a local-don-and-aspiring politician Thakur Bachcha (Prakash Raj) in kanpur. Bachcha and his spoilt, troublesome brothers are a menace to the town.
When Bachcha’s brother Gainda (Deepak Dobriyal) oversteps by threatening Prajapati and tries to abduct a girl from her wedding, Chubul Pandey breaks his neck. Caught up in the preparations for the elections, Bachcha denounces his brother and continues campaigning. There Chulbul bonds with his father and revels in the news of being a daddy soon. Even his dim-witted brother takes an interest in taking up a job. But it doesn’t take long for Bachcha to remember his brother.

Does the tide turn on Chulbul this time?

Performances - Salman Khan is lovely as the maverick cop. He is very good in the action and comedy scenes. Sonakshi Sinha does aptly as Rajjo though she spends an oddly large amount of time drying clothes. Arbaaz Khan reprises his role as the village idiot with a few scenes as Makkhi. Vinod Khanna is absolutely wonderful as the worried patriarch Prajapati.

Charm Factor - The return of Chulbul Pandey-Rajjo-Makkhi; the comedy; some songs; the direction & cinematography.

KHILADI 786: Paisa Vasool Movie - Yes

Story Idea - Bahattar (72) Singh (Akshay kumar) beats villains black and blue and makes walls crumble with just a single punch! What he can’t do is find himself a bride because of his reputation. When an out-of-work matrimonial agent Manshukh Desai (Himesh) offers to get him hitched to Indu (Asin), the spoil sister of an underworld don Tatya Tendulkar (Mithun), both families pretend to come from respectable backgrounds. Watch the movie to enjoy the twist and turns of story which is about Manshukh Desai's efforts to make this Khiladi jodi.

Performance - Akshay Kumar in garish, loud kurtas knocking off the teeth and smashing the noses of every other bad guy in the village. The genre of action is the Khiladi’s forte, goes without saying; however, when it remains in the realm of the real. When Akshay Kumar isn’t beating people up or thinking about Asin, which – by the way – hardly happens, he is not bad. Asin’s Marathi mulgi act is overshadowed by her tomboyish side; but when faced by solid patriarchy in the form of her brother, she hardly has anything to do. Her acting is good, but not one that deserves a standing ovation. Mithun plays off the stereotypical elder-brother-worried-about-sister’s-wedding well.As far as Himesh Reshammiya’s talent (he’s the producer, story writer, music director, singer and actor in the film) is considered – we might need to do an entire thesis on why does this man try.

Charm Factor - I will say Comic Dialogues and music are two charm factors of this film. Watch the film if you swear by Akshay Kumar. If you don't, you'd be ill-advised to go into the theatres. This movie is certainly not a boring movie but again it is also not a very remarkable work of Akshay and Asin as an actor.

Talaash: Paisa Vasool Movie - Yes

Story Idea - Surjan Shekhawat (amir) is a police officer investigating the death of a fiom star, while also coming to terms with his son's untimely death and the subsequent near collapse of his marriage with Roshni (Rani). He investigates the case with the help of an escort with a golden heart Rosy (Kareena) who also helps him come out his own personal misery. How the case solves itself takes you through an emotional ride that ends with a twist that is sure to divide the audience on its quality.

Performance -  Perfectionist Amir Khan gives a new meaning to onscreen cops in times of muscled mustached Singhams and Rowdy Rathores.

Rani delivers a performance that is nuanced, amply displaying the wonders an actress can perform when not worried by the numbers game.

Kareena on the other hand manages to do her performance well - she is kind, strong, lonesome and seductive at the same time as Rosy.

Charm Factor - Kagti and Zoya write a story that is really nice and aided with some amazing photography and understated background score by Ram Sampath, bring to the screen an atmosphere that is gloomy and introspective. Director Kagti takes you through the story at her own pace, the mystery runs first, followed by the strong emotional parts. Good enough to shake you.

Rate on Paisa Vasool Index - For a thriller, Talaash is a good movie yet lacks the urgency to grip you by the throat. This one definitely is intelligent cinema, falling short of being cerebral. Watch it for yourself and decide.

Rowdy Rathore: Paisa Vasool Movie - NO

Story idea - Shiva (Akshay Kumar), a thief in Mumbai, falls in love with Priya (Sonakshi Sinha). who is from Patna and she was is in Mumbai to attend a marriage. Shiva makes his way into Priya’s heart and she also starts loving him. Shiva tells her the truth about him being a thief and resolves to give up crime forever.

But before that, he decides to swindle one last person for a large sum of money. This leads Shiva to Chinki, a young girl, who thinks that Shiva is her father. Flummoxed by what is happening, but forced to keep Chinki with her [as a police officer (Yashpal Sharma) keeps his eye on him], Shiva slowly starts loving the innocent child. Although he tries keeping Chinki away from Priya’s eyes, the latter finds out about Chinki. Angry and hurt, Priya leaves for Patna.

Shiva is heartbroken. Soon, unknown goons attack him, taking him to be Vikram Rathore, Chinki’s real father. While many unknown persons help Shiva run to safety with Chinki in his arms, he is soon surrounded by the goons. It is then that Vikram Rathore (Akshay Kumar) makes an appearance and saves the day. But he is grievously injured in the fight.

What happens next? Who is Vikram Rathore? Does he survive? Why are the goons attacking Vikram and Chinki? What does Shiva do next? Is he able to win back Priya’s love? The rest of the drama and the climax answer these questions.

Performance - Akshay Kumar is in his element as the conman Shiva. He makes you laugh with his comic timing and eccentric mannerisms. As Vikram Rathore, he is endearing beyond doubt, but he seems to be trying too hard to play the honest cop at times. Overall, he does very well in the double role. Sonakshi Sinha, as Priya, is alright and does what is required of her.The girl playing Chinki is cute. The actor playing Titla is far from scary. Mushtaq Khan, Anant Jog and others offer good support.

Charm Factor - Rowdy Rathore is the remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu. It is not as good as the original. If you are an action lover, you might like this. But still, charm factor of this movie is Khiladi's action, sexy sonakshi Sinha, Sajid-Wajid’s music and Prabhu Devaa.

Department: Paisa Vasool Movie - Yes

Story Idea - Department is an action thriller about the ongoing war between the police and gangs in Mumbai. When police officer Mahadev Bhosale (Sanjay Dutt) is asked by his bosses to form a hit squad to take on the Mumbai underworld, he recruits Shiv Narayan (Rana Daggubati), an honest and brave police officer who had been suspended for an encounter killing.

Together, Mahadev, Shiv and others in the ‘Department’ take on Sawatya’s (Vijay Raaz) gang. Sawatya, in spite of many exhortations by his number two, D.K. (Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh), and D.K.’s feisty girlfriend, Naseer (Madhu Shalini), does not hit back at the police.

There is another rival gang, lead by one Mohammad Gauri.

There is also the gangster-turned-minister, Sarjerao Gaikwad (Amitabh Bachchan). Shiv saves his life at a public rally and Sarjerao takes Shiv under his wing. Mahadev warns Shiv that Sarjerao is just using him. After a certain turn of events, it is exposed that Mahadev is actually working for Mohammad Gauri and is, at the ganglord’s behest, finishing off Sawatya’s gang.

While Shiv declines to be a part of Mahadev’s corrupt world, and Mahadev agrees to let him go. Gangster D.K. form another gang as Mahadev was supporting him and D.K. start clearing root of Sawatya's gang from Mumbai.

But following his duty, Shiv starts taking on this new gang and destiny brings Shiv and Mahadev against each other.

Who is right? Who is wrong? What about the Sawatya and Mohammad Gauri gangs? What role does Sarjerao play in the final outcome of all this? The rest of the drama is all about this.

Performance -  Rana Daggubati, as Shiv Narayan, puts in an earnest effort. He is really good in the action scenes and raw in others. Sanjay Dutt, as Mahadev Bhosale, manages to look earnest enough. Amitabh Bachchan (as Sarjerao Gaikwad) had also impressed me by his performance.

Charm Factor - Rana Daggubati's performance and item song by Nathalia Kaur can be considered as charm factor of this movie. Ram Gopal Varma’s experimentation breaks the film. The music of the film, composed by Dharam Sandeep, Bappa Lahiri and Vikram Nagi, is average. Department will run on the basis of performance by these big stars. Otherwise, it is not with a very good story line and RGV's unconventional camera and editing technique had made it tuff to watch.

Dangerous Ishhq: Paisa Vasool Movie - No

Story Idea - The story is about supermodel Sanjana and Rohan. They both expressed their desire to get married. But on the same evening, Sanjana’s (Karisma Kapoor) industrialist boyfriend, Rohan (Rajniesh Duggall) is kidnapped by unknown people.

Sanjana got a hit in the head while the crime is taking place. In the hospital, Sanjana goes into a trance in which she sees Rohan in a bearded avatar calling her by a different name. In the trance itself, a few medieval-looking, sword-wielding men attack Rohan and Sanjana. Sanjana is able to save Rohan but her trance ends when Sanjana’s doctor friend (Divya Dutta) appears on the scene.

To find out about Rohan, Sanjana goes to Rohan’s house, where ACP Singh (Jimmy Shergill) is handling the investigation of Rohan’s kidnapping. Rohan’s father asks Sanjana to stay away from them as he doesn’t want any help from her. Sanjana went back to her house and their she again saw some thing which was like a dream. By following her friend's suggestion she goes to a past life regression specialist who hypnotises her. Under hypnosis, Sanjana sees her previous life, where Rohan and she were lovers torn apart by the India-Pakistan partition. As the drama progresses, Sanjana intermittently lapses into trance, having visions of many more of her past lives. In all these past lives, Sanjana and Rohan are lovers, who are torn apart by evil men who fancy her.

Sanjana then realises that her previous lives have a bearing on the present; she even claims that the villains of her previous lives are the ones who are out to kill Rohan in the present time. What is the real connection between her previous lives and the present one? The rest of the drama is all about this.

Performance - Karisma Kapoor looks good in her different avatars and holds the film together to a certain extent. Rajniesh Duggall, as Rohan, has little to do. Jimmy Shergill is passable as ACP Singh. Divya Dutta does fine job in multiple roles. Ravi Kishan is effective. Gracy Singh is alright as Meerabai. Others offer average support.

Charm Factor - Karisma Kapoor’s earnest performance is the only charm factor of this movie.  Watch it only if you are interested in the subject of past life regressions. Vikram Bhatt’s direction is unimpressive.  Himesh Reshammiya’s music is below-average. On the whole, Dangerous Ishhq is not a paisa vasool.

On the next day, Parma meet Zoya in college. He proposed her and asked her to forgive. Zoya was shocked by this act and make this act of saying sorry by asking Parma to come at her home to take her Sorry. Parma takes the challenge and meet her at her home. For this, Parma had to face her brother's torture.

Parma woos her till she reciprocates his love. The two meet secretly and even get married in the presence of two of Parma’s friends. Immediately afterwards, Parma has sex with Zoya. Then, to her surprise, he abandons her, claiming revenge for the slap.

Parma even uses photos of Zoya getting married in the Hindu way – without showing his own face – to rubbish her family’s name. As a result, Zoya’s dad loses the election. Parma becomes his grandfather’s blue eyed boy.

Zoya’s father decides to snap all ties with her. Zoya, meanwhile, escapes from her home with the intention to put a bullet in Parma’s head. What happens then? Does Zoya kill Parma and avenge her honour?

Performance - Arjun Kapoor makes a impressive debut as Parma. He emotes well, acts with a swagger and dances delightfully. He has a very good screen presence as well. Parineeti Chopra looks very good and acts like a song. Arjun and Parineeti’s on-screen chemistry and excellent performances are the highlights of the film. Gauhar Khan, who plays courtesan Chand, does very well.

Charm Factor -  Ishaqzaade is an entertaining fare which works on the strength of its first half and the performances. Charm factor of this movie is the chemistry between Arjun and Parineeti.  Amit Trivedi’s music is also very good. Songs are also the charm factor of this movie: watch out - Jhalla mera ashiq walla..., Hua chokra jawan re... and Pareshan... pareshan...

However, Sonu manages to convince Mangal that he is a corrupt and shrewd person who will be of use to his gang. Mangal embraces Sonu as his next in command.
ACP Pratap, who knows this, blackmails Sonu to give him information on upcoming arms deals, so that he can catch Mangal Singh red handed. Sonu, caught between the devil and the deep sea, starts playing a double game. He neither gives information to the ACP, nor tells Mangal the truth about him being a police informer. Secretly he plans to run away with Jhanvi, so that he can live a peaceful life with her.

What happens then? Is Sonu able to get away? Or do ACP Pratap and Mangal Singh find out the truth about him? check this out in Cinema.

Performance - Emraan Hashmi is first-rate as the glib and deceitful but endearing criminal. He has proved once again that he can make a negative character likeable. Randeep Hooda carries himself very well and delivers an excellent performance. There was nothing much to do for Esha Gupta. Rest others offer good support.

Charm Factor - I am not very impressed with the story idea. Although Kunal Deshmukh’s direction is praiseworthy. Pritam delivers very good songs which have been used judiciously in the narrative. Performance by Emraan Hashmi and Randeep Hooda can be considered as charm factor of this movie. Esha Gupta is just Okay.

Tezz: Paisa Vasool Movie - No

Story Idea - Tezz is about an illegal immigrant, Aakash Rana (Ajay Devgan), who is deported back to India from the UK because he is working there without a work permit. Aakash’s wife, Nikita (Kangna Ranaut) is left back alone in the UK.

Four years later, Aakash returns to London and along with his friends Aadil Khan (Zayed Khan) and Megha (Sameera Reddy) he plants a bomb on a London-Glasgow passenger train. Among the 500-odd passengers on the ill-fated train is the young daughter of the railway traffic controller (Boman Irani). Aakash tells the railway traffic controller, the bomb will be triggered if the speed of the train drops below 60 miles per hour. While the railway authorities work hard to ensure the safety of the train and its passengers, Arjun Khanna (Anil Kapoor), a retired London counter-terrorism officer, is deputed on the case. He starts negotiating with Aakash through the railway traffic controller. Will Arjun be able to save all the passengers and what will happen with Akash and his team, is a suspence. Check this out in Cinema.

Performance - Ajay Devgan delivers a fine performance as Aakash. He is suitable restrained. Anil Kapoor, as Arjun Khanna, is superb. Boman Irani, as the railway traffic controller, is very good. Rest others including Kangna Ranaut had nothing to do much in the movie.

Charm Factor - This film is not a good job by Priyadarshan. Still, Anil Kapoor's performance and few good action scenes are charm factor of this movie.

Item song on Mallika Sherawat is also a good to watch. Sajid-Wajid’s composition Tera Bina is also a good one.

Hate Story: Paisa Vasool Movie - No

When Kavvya learns that she is pregnant with Siddharth’s child, she threatens him. Siddharth gets her kidnapped and makes sure that she can never conceive again.

Kavvya, who has now been ostracised by everybody but her photographer-friend, Vicky (Nikhil Dwivedi), decides to take revenge on Siddharth. They revenge way she choose is of becoming the hottest prostitute of Delhi. She gets into bed with anybody who can help her destroy Siddharth’s company and his life.

Kavvya finds out secrets about Siddharth’s company by sleeping with his company’s CEO (Joy Sengupta). She then makes sure that Siddharth bids and wins a deal that will entail financial losses for his company, much to Siddharth’s father, Kumar Dhanrajgir’s (Saurabh Dubey) chagrin. Kumar asks Siddharth to clean up the mess or to lose control of the company.

What happens next? Is Kavvya able to exact her revenge on Siddharth?  Check this, in Cinema.

Performance - Paoli Dam had performed pretty well. Gulshan Devaiah gives a confident performance as Siddharth. His change of personality when he is in front of his father is impressive. Nikhil Dwivedi gives a nice performance in a short role. Others offer average support.

Charm Factor - Certainly charm factor of this movie is Paoli Dam. This bong actress had done justice to the role. Vikram Bhatt’s story is ordinary and predictable. However, Bhatt’s screenplay works well for the mind games between the two opponents, Kavvya and Siddharth. The screenplay also creates ample scope for explicit scenes. Paoli had given a range of bold scenes in this movie. The film unfortunately, lacks any highlight scenes, apart from the explicit ones, which will appeal to a section of the audience.

His mother Widowed and middle-aged lady, Dolly (Dolly Ahluwalia) runs a beauty parlour, while her mother-in-law (Kamlesh Gill) lusts after a 32 inch LCD TV and an iPhone.

Then begins the haggling to convince Vicky to donate sperm.

Finally he made him to donate sperms. But When Vicky falls in love with “Bong” banker Ashima Roy (Yaami Gautam), the film takes an emotional turn. What happens next is to be kept as secret watch it in Cinema.

Performance - From the loud Punjabi mother Dolly, to the amusingly progressive grandmother and from the naturally convincing Annu Kapoor to the understated Jayanta Das as Ashima’s father — every character makes her/his screen time worth a million dollars.
The chemistry between Yaami Gautam and Ayushmann Khurrana is surprisingly well. Both had performed well enough to make this film a Paisa Vasool Movie.

Charm Factor - First charm factor is Juhi Chaturvedi’s impeccably funny screenplay. Second is the chemistry between Yaami Gautam and Ayushmann Khurrana. Yaami Gautam is a good actress and she had proved it again.
